This class is for actors 16 years old and up and you will be working on scene study and audition techniques. This will be a live interactive class where you will have Q&A and you will be able to perform and get feedback from Pamela. You will be able to download the recordings of your performances for educational purposes and send us your headshot, resume, acting reel and anything else you want Pamela to see.

Pamela is currently casting two feature films and has another 3 films in Development! 

Pamela M. Staton is a respected member of the entertainment industry with over 27 years combined experience as a casting director, talent executive, producer, and promotions  marketing executive. With her dedication to excellence and keen eye for talent, she has completed 82 Independent Films, 69 of which received distribution, and 29 of which garnered “Best Film” honors from prestigious Film Festivals including Cannes. She has done the original casting on a few Television Series and most recently has joined the team at KEY-TV, Keke’ Palmer’s Network on Youtube as Casting Director. Her popular titles include All About You, which was named the highest selling DVD in the urban market and still holds the title. Playaz Court, her first film, was named an urban classic by Variety Magazine.

Ms. Staton worked at NBC as an Associate Producer for the “Charlie Rose Show” and then for The Walt Disney Company as Feature Promotions Coordinator on “Beauty and The Beast” and many others in the early 90’s. Also at Touchstone, she was Director of Development in Television overseeing new programming for one year. At Black Entertainment Television (BET) she was a seasonal Talent Executive
for overall programming launching she also worked at Warner Bros. in Marketing Finance from “Space Jam” and “The Matrixes” to “Harry Potter” totaling a 12- year tenure there. Ms. Staton has coordinated Talent for several award shows, including Critic’s Choice, People’s Choice, Daytime Emmy's, and The American Music Awards for Dick Clark Productions and The MovieGuide Awards for Ted Baehr.

Ms. Staton cast Academy Award-winner Morgan Freeman, and other notables, Academy Award- nominees, Emmy Award winners, Golden Globe Winners, as well as many SAG Award nominees and winners in her films. Ms. Staton is an active associate member of the Casting Society Of America (CSA), Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS), Women In Film (WIF), Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) and formerly Film Independent (FIND), 18 years as a voting member for the Independent Spirit Awards and currently on the nominations committee for the Image Awards.

Ms. Staton’s talent, experience, and relationships have pushed her more and more into the Producing arena having recently completed 17 films as a producer, (all sold) and currently working on three features including the newly added A Coyote Named Jesus. She loves to develop projects and play an active role in coordinating many of the key elements. She is the consummate student of the Industry and keeps herself relevant by conducting casting workshops, participating on panels, frequently attending screenings, viewing a lot of high rated television and attending equity theatre productions. Her hobbies are screenwriting and networking. She is a world traveler, avid reader and film enthusiast, keeping aware of new cutting edge talent both in front of and behind the screen.

Class 2: You will work on your scene from Class 1 taking into account the feedback Pamela provided
