Join us for our Online 2-Week COMEDY & DRAMA Intensive with Casting Director, Jeremy Gordon, CSA!

This class is for actors 16 years old and up and you will be working on scene study and audition techniques. This will be a live interactive class where you will have a Q&A and you will be able to perform and get feedback from Jeremy. You will be able to download the recordings of your performances for educational purposes and send us your headshot, resume, acting reel and anything else you want Jeremy to see.

Jeremy Gordon, CSA has been a Casting Director and Producer in LA for 15 years working in the studio/network world as well as the indie world spanning mediums from film & TV to digital platforms, podcasts and more. Most recently Jeremy was the Casting Director and Producer on the original IGTV series, Quarantine, a first of its kind digital series shot entirely on Zoom which donated 100% of their proceeds to the SAG AFTRA Foundation Covid-19 Disaster Relief Fund. The cast of 12 series regulars includes Spencer Garrett, Alicia Minshew & Justin Chu Cary and celebrity guest stars such as Steven Weber, Bree Turner, Rob Morrow, Reno Wilson & Willie Garson. Recent past projects include Rob Reiner’s “Shock & Awe” starring Woody Harrelson, Tommy Lee Jones & James Marsden. With their new formed Garrett Gordon Productions, alongside producing partner, Spencer Garrett, Jeremy cast and produced the #1 hit scripted podcast, “America 2.0” starring Laurence Fishburne, Patrick J. Adams, Kate Walsh, Ming Na Wen & Shanola Hampton.

We'll hit both genres in our time together and talk about the similarities and differences in your  preparation and in your work.  Week 1 - you'll pick a dramatic scene (MAX 3-4 pages) ahead of time to work on which you'll perform in front of the Zoom class.  I'll give you notes and we'll do some work together that you can take with you and put into practice on future drama auditions.  For Week 2 - I will send you comedy scenes at the end of the 1st class for you to work on over that week.  You'll come to the next class ready to put your haha's up for the class and we'll work together while busting our bellies.  You will leave both classes with knowledge and takeaways that will help you with future auditions and on set work.
