Join us for our Online Video Game Voiceover Seminar with TOP Casting Director Emily Schweber!
This will be a live, interactive Q&A focused on video game voiceover and motion capture with top game casting director Emily Schweber. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain insight into the video game casting process, performance capture, and how actors can prepare for opportunities in this growing area of the industry.
This is an informational seminar only, there will be no performances or individual feedback during the session. Bring your questions!
Emily Schweber is an independent casting director who has cast over 150 films. She began her career working for a commercial casting director and casting background extras in the Bay Area. After moving to Los Angeles, she worked as a casting associate with the late esteemed casting director Mali Finn on such films as Terminator 2, Titanic, L.A. Confidential, The Green Mile, and The Matrix. Many of Emily's films have premiered at major film festivals including Sundance, South by Southwest, Tribeca, and Venice. Selected credits include Secondhand Lions, Lemon, Oh Lucy!, Flora and Ulysses, and Monica.
Emily was introduced to the world of video games by video game director Tom Keegan.
They have collaborated on the casting of games such as the Wolfenstein franchise, Star Wars Jedi franchise, Need for Speed, and Indiana Jones and The Great Circle. Emily has also worked on the Call of Duty Modern Warfare franchise, Battlefield 6, Dead Space, Dragon Age, and others. Currently Emily is casting several projects under NDA.
Emily is a member of the Casting Society of America, the Teamsters Union, Film Independent, Women in Film, and BAFTA.
