Description
Don't miss this Online TV/Film Masterclass with TOP Casting Director Tannis Vallely! This exciting opportunity is open to actors aged 16 and up and will take place live on Zoom. The class includes an interactive Q&A session, as well as the chance to perform and receive personalized feedback from Tannis. Recordings of your performance will be available for download for educational use. You’ll also have the option to submit your headshot, resume, acting reel, and any additional materials you’d like Tannis to review.
Tannis Vallely was born into this business the child of actor/writer parents in New York. At age 5, she began working in theatre, television and film before moving to Los Angeles where she was cast as Janice on the 80's sitcom “Head of the Class.” After graduating from Stanford University, Tannis shifted her focus behind the scenes where she learned the art of Casting from a master – Debra Zane. While an Associate CD with Deb, Tannis was privileged to collaborate with some of today's most talented directors including Spielberg, Soderbergh, Bill Condon, Sam Mendes, Susanne Bier and Ridley Scott.
As a Casting Director, Tannis is happiest in the audition room (real or virtual) giving actors support, direction and a scene partner who helps them to do their best work. She's drawn to storytelling with a message; some of her favorites indy projects include Olivia Milch’s Dude, the sex-positive, female high school stoner movie as well as the Snapchat series “Everything's Fine” - the semi autobiographical story of a young woman living with bipolar disorder. Currently she's thrilled to have returned to her TV half hour roots with CBS' hit ensemble comedy “Ghosts”.

Prep Instructions:
Please prepare a 2-minute scene from TV or film. Choose material that you would realistically be cast as but at the same time will challenge you and be worth working on in a classroom setting.
Please note: If you have a Gmail account, our emails sometimes end up in the "Promotions" or "Spam" folders. Once you register for a class, you should receive your registration confirmation email within 24 hours or one business day. If you do not see an email from us, please check these folders. You can also remedy this by dragging our email from "Promotions" to your main inbox- then it should not happen again. PLEASE NOTE: We don't offer refunds under any circumstances but offer full credit that you can apply toward another class if you cancel your class 24 hours or more prior to the class. We won't provide credit after the class has already begun. Please read our Studio Policy for more information.
