For class 1 you will need to prepare a 2-minute TV/Film scene. For class 2 you will need to prepare a contrasting scene to class 1. Scenes are strongly preferred, please do not perform a monologue unless specifically requested. When you register we will send you a link with our scene database with a variety of scenes to choose from.

We don't offer refunds under any circumstances but offer full credit that you can apply toward another class if you cancel your class 24 Hours or more prior to the class. We won't provide credit after the class has already begun. Please read our Studio Policy for more information.

Description

Join us for our Online 2-Week CD Intensive with "Tokyo Vice" and "Station Eleven" Casting Director Mike Page!

This class is for actors 16 years old and up and you will be working on scene study and audition techniques. This will be a live interactive class where you will have a Q&A and you will be able to perform and get feedback from Mike. You will be able to download the recordings of your performances for educational purposes and send us your headshot, resume, acting reel and anything else you want John to see.

Arlie Day and Mike Page have a combined 35+ years of experience in casting. Both have extensive TV and film credits in both the comedy and drama space.
On the feature side, their most notable film TO LESLIE (starring Andrea Riseborough, Allison Janney, Marc Maron, Owen Teague, Andre Royo, Stephen Root and Matt Lauria) garnered Andrea Riseborough a 2023 Academy Award for her performance.

Since joining forces in 2020, they have cast a multitude of features including THE STORIED LIFE OF A.J. FIKRY for BCDF Pictures based on the bestselling book written by Gabrielle Zevin (starring Kunal Nayyar, Lucy Hale, Christina Hendricks, David Arquette and Scott Foley) as well as the buddy comedy BROMATES (starring Lil Rel Howery, Josh Brener and Snoop Dogg), the dark comedy KAET MIGHT DIE for Balcony 9 Productions and Whitewater Films (with Kristen Bell attached to play KAET), BIG GIRL FACE (with recent attachments Nicholas Braun, Madelaine Petsch, Kal Penn, Christopher Mintz Plasse and Cheyenne Jackson) and THE SWELLS for Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer (James Harris, Josh Goldbloom, Adam Goldworm and John Finemore producing).

They recently worked with Mandalay Entertainment on THE PATIENCE OF VULTURES as well as Ground Control on Nicole Perlman’s OUR OWN DEVICES and are about to start shooting the Olivia Holt starring romcom F#<K VALENTINE’S DAY.
Day & Page are awaiting pickup of their Adult Swim pilot EGGLAND and are currently casting Gregg Araki’s latest comedy I WANT YOUR SEX as well as Alloy Entertainment’s 99 DAYS and Di Novi Pictures’ HOMEWRECKER, which is being directed by Thor Freudenthal. They are also working with Spooky Pictures (Roy Lee and Steven Schneider) on Natalia Leite’s latest film THE SWALLOW (with Kelsey Law and John Finemore also producing).
