Description

BRAND NEW CLASS! Online TV/Film Masterclass with Top US & UK Casting Professional Lainey Lipson! This class is for actors 16+ and it will be held online via Zoom. This will be a live interactive class where you will have a Q&A and you will be able to perform and get feedback from Lainey. You will be able to download the recordings of your performances for educational purposes only. You can also share your headshot, resume, and acting reel(s) with Lainey for feedback and instruction only. All materials will remain under the studio’s control and will not be used for casting, employment, or representation purposes.

Lainey Lipson is a freelance Associate Casting Director. She has worked across a variety of US, UK, and international projects over the years, ranging from studio and independent feature films, to streaming and network TV series and pilots, talent searches, commercials, short films, and more. Prior to her career in casting, she trained and worked as an actress in Los Angeles, and simultaneously assisted (ad hoc) in casting offices. Lainey then ventured to England, where she earned her BA Honours degree in Film Production with a specialization in Directing. Upon her return to LA, Lainey assisted full-time in various casting offices, including multi-Emmy-award-winners Junie Lowry-Johnson and Libby Goldstein. Since relocating back to the UK in 2020, she has worked alongside casting directors including: Gail Stevens and Rebecca Farhall; Rose Wicksteed and Sophie Kingston-Smith; Nancy Bishop; Gemma Sykes; Lucinda Syson; and Kirsty Kinnear. Notable projects include: 28 Years Later (Sony Pictures/DNA Films); Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (Amazon/Paramount); Black Cake (Hulu); The Nun 2 (New Line/Warner Bros); For All Mankind (Apple TV+/Sony); Yellowjackets (Showtime); Invasion (Apple TV+); and Them (Amazon/Sony).
