Description
Don’t miss this BRAND NEW 2-Week IN-PERSON or ZOOM Acting Reel Prep Intensive with top acting coach Marcel Simoneau, designed specifically to prepare actors for their upcoming Acting Reel Promo Package shoot!
Take the guesswork out of shoot day and walk onto set already prepared, rehearsed, and confident in your scene. Actors will receive their scripts prior to the first class and spend two weeks working directly with Marcel on the material they will actually be filming during the November 14th Acting Reel Promo Shoot.
This intensive gives you the opportunity to approach your reel like a professional film or television project. Instead of meeting your scene partner and working through your material for the first time on set, you'll have the chance to rehearse your scene in advance, make strong acting choices, develop the relationship between the characters, and receive personalized coaching before the cameras roll.
You'll be working on your actual reel scene with your actual scene partner, allowing you to build chemistry and get comfortable with the material before shoot day. Think of it as having your own acting coach throughout the rehearsal process leading up to your shoot!
Marcel is a New York City–based actor whose TV credits include Gotham, Law & Order, The Blacklist, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Daily Show. Film work includes Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist and Kinsey. He has extensive voiceover credits for major brands and series such as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Emily in Paris, and The Queen’s Gambit, and teaches Method Acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and NYU.
