Description
BRAND NEW CLASS! Join us for an Online TV & Film Intensive with Sarah Johnson. You will be working on scene study, cold-reading and audition techniques. This will be a live, interactive class with a Q&A and the opportunity to perform for and get feedback from Sarah. You will be able to download the recordings of your performances for educational purposes only. You will also be able to send us your headshot, resume, acting reel, and anything else you want Sarah to see.
Sarah began her casting career in Los Angeles in 2010 under Casting Director Sheryl Levine working on Sonny With a Chance for Disney Channel. She would continue working with Sheryl as well as other casting directors on other shows for the network including Wizards of Waverly Place, So Random, Dog With a Blog, Jessie, Stuck in the Middle, and Bizaardvark as well as Disney XD’s Pair of Kings and Mighty Med. After a brief hiatus from the entertainment business, Sarah returned to Los Angeles in 2021 and reconnected with her mentor and friend, Sheryl, working on projects such as Monster High: The Movie, Monster High 2: The Movie, Are You Afraid of the Dark: Ghost Island, A Really Haunted Loud House, and The Really Loud House live action series seasons one and two. Most recently, she worked on a Nickelodeon/Paramount+ movie called My Weird School.
Sarah has an innate love of actors and finds her work in the kids and family world very rewarding. One of her favorite opportunities is to seek new talent, young or older, and watch as their career develops. Outside of casting, Sarah enjoys time with her family, friends, traveling as often as possible, and her new (to her) old lady dog, Sadie.

PREP INSTRUCTIONS:
Please prepare a 2-3 page scene from TV or film. Scenes are strongly preferred, please do not perform a monologue unless specifically requested. Upon registration, we will send you a link to our scene database that you are welcome to browse!
